Overview: 65% Gamay: 35% Pinot - light, fine & smashable - can be served chilled
Winemaking: fermented separately, Pinot from our home block (27 yo MV6 clone) and Gamay from Brooklands vineyard (Beaujolais clone) 100% whole bunch fermented; seasoned, large format oak maturation
Aroma: Ripe strawberry, smokey mezcal, orange peel, peanut shell, beetroot and five spice
Palate: Ripe strawberry, blood plum and savoury, earthy flavours with lovely grainy tannins and a bright, detailed finish.

“65/35% gamay/pinot noir; the parcels are fermented separately with the gamay made with 100% whole bunches and the pinot with 25% whole bunches. A light crimson purple. An uber-fragrant bouquet featuring red summer fruits, floral notes, tobacco leaf and a little Dashi soy! Gently fleshy, flavoursome and long.
