“Hand-picked MV6 from De Bortoli's Lusatia Park vineyard in the Upper Yarra. 100% destemmed. A deep-ish, bright crimson. This is reticent, in a good way, before revealing aromas of damson plum, black raspberry, spice and violets. The palate is medium bodied, with excellent depth and ripe, fine-grained and very persistent tannins. This will open up considerably over the next 12 months and will continue to cellar well over the next six to eight years.” (Philip Rich - Halliday Wine Companion)
