Winemaking: 50% whole bunch fermented over 3 open pot ferments : Home block 28 year old MV6 clone (own roots) and ABEL clone (grafted); no fining or filtration
Aroma: bright and heady; black cherry, raspberry and beetroot; slight reductive notes when freshly opened; underlying dried herbs and turned earth.
Palate: medium bodied with super silky tannins; sweet fruit flavours of wild strawberry, raspberry and black cherry; hints of orange peel and aniseed; bold and savoury with a peacock tail finish.
