NEW WINE FROM TaT:
94 points from The Wine Front
“Yering Grange, planted 1989. 5% Shiraz. 20% new oak. Picked 7th April.
Blackcurrant, mint, truffle, nougat and baking spice, some violet perfume. Medium-bodied, truffle and tobacco, concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry flavours, hazelnut, sooty tannin, a juicy cranberry character to acidity, with a choc-hazelnut finish of excellent length. Responds very well to air, I found, as it unlocks the fragrance. Nice one.” (Gary Walsh)
